News on Consulting Agreement, is the first step to both companies looking at the works of a possible merger.. The have only been talking and working together for about a week and a half, and a lot of things are going on that you can't see here.

1) MJNA is only one of several companies that is talking to HESG about teaming up..

2) The industry in a whole as well as HESG is getting calls from all over.. City's and State governments as well as radio and TV stations about information and interview about streamlining the thought and theory’s to help with the medical marijuana programs that are compliant with the laws of the states in which they operate and or help to streamline the laws they want pass.. There phones have not stopped ringing and email are over the top..

3) Induvigeal store owners and companies’ know these changes are going to affect them also as they are also calling and emailing HESG and the other companies that are headed into this. I think this is HESG and the Attys for both companies to see how best to play these card and help in get in with the City, states, and stores and to lay out the plan to who is best fitted to do which part..

4) If we are all just be clam I think we will get Press Release weekly to update us the best the can, with to much insider info..

5) I am one of you guy's and I am not with the company.. I was ask over a month ago from people on the board to call the CEO and email him and I did and we have talked several time and email him about questions and get answer for the board, He has say that he can not speak to everyone that calls and emails him so I told him I wanted to be the go between person for the board and he agreed to take my call when he could and answer the emails I send him..

6) So in a nut shell I think we are going in the right direction and Hope for the rest and watch it all come together.. I hope I explained everything ok it, it the facts that I know and I know a little more but don’t know how to explain it on the board.

HESG - News $$$ A Big Merger is coming soon $$$$NEWS Health Sciences Group Engages In

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

YEAAHHHHHHHHHHH

It sounds like a total merger. HESG has all the financial savy from the looks of it, MJNA has all the knowledge of the product/rules/regulations/laws. It's a perfect marriage, someone to handle the legal side, and some to manage the financial side. More than likely they will bring some very business savvy people on board to help promote and market to potential states and dispensary's. JMO

The changing debate over medical marijuana
Posted: 02:06 PM ET
By Stephanie Smith
CNN Medical Producer

The national conversation about medical marijuana - in particular smoked marijuana - is complex and often polarizing.

I liken it to having a conversation with my father-in-law about politics/race/religion/poverty/health care – you name it. We start off meaning to have dignified conversation, but we inevitably spiral into growling matches peppered with words like, “those liberals…” and “c’mon, you’re smarter than that…” or “that’s crazy! That’s insane.” In reality, we are not so far apart on the issues, but somehow we can muddy the conversation so that it seems like we are.

The medical marijuana debate has been historically cast in equally polarizing terms: Groups are either for or against legalizing it.

That is what makes a subtle, nuanced move by the American Medical Association at a board meeting on Tuesday such a remarkable twist in the dialogue. The AMA shifted a 72-year-old policy about smoked marijuana, acknowledging that there could be some medical benefits, and urging reconsideration of the drug’s Schedule I status (Schedule I is a drug of abuse with “no accepted medical use.” Heroin and ecstasy are also Schedule I).

The AMA’s new policy language suggests that “marijuana’s status as a federal Schedule I controlled substance be reviewed with the goal of facilitating the conduct of clinical research and development of cannabinoid-based medicines.”

What that means is that marijuana should be reconsidered as a Schedule I drug so that wider studies can be conducted that may establish that it is worthy of prescription drug status.

The organization is quick to add that it is by no means endorsing state-based cannabis programs or legalization. It also does not go as far as to say there is evidence that cannabis meets the rigorous standards met by prescription drugs on the market now – yet.

But that “yet” is key. What the new policy - and a forthcoming study - concede is that several short-term trials have shown that smoked cannabis is effective to treat neuropathy (nerve pain) in patients with HIV and hepatitic C. It is also effective, again, in a small number of trials, for stimulating appetite for people on chemotherapy; it may also be useful for patients with multiple sclerosis, to ameliorate pain and spasms.

The idea behind this policy shift is to widen the berth of studies about smoked marijuana, and to conduct them in a controlled manner, just as is done with prescription drugs, so that the debate can quiet down and give way to scientific evidence.

Now if only I could quiet down those debates with my father-in-law.

What do you think about the AMA’s new position on medical marijuana? Do you agree that it should be taken off of Schedule I status to make way for more studies in this area?

you are right they are not a pharmacy although we have been in touch with pharmacies that do in fact distribute. As far as MMNJ is concerned, they consult us. We are searching for profitable revenue streams besides being an online and magazine company. -TG

HESG,

Your recent PR's are interesting, enough to get me to buy 30 million shares at .0003. I am not completely certain of my investment yet however. Can you clarify more about your agreement with MJNA? Are they consulting you? Will HESG try to aquire medical marijuana dispensaries in order to become a subsidiary of MJNA?

The way I see it, MJNA is providing the consulting service

to HESG. Don't forget about an important part in the 8K Report:

"Lastly the Company has been approached by an undisclosed medical marijuana pharmacy company about forming subsidiary for legal medical distribution."

http://www.pinksheets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=6846095

MJNA is not a MMJ Pharmacy. A much bigger piece of the puzzle as yet to be revealed.

Feel free to clarify what you can.

Regards,

The American Medical Assn. on Tuesday urged the federal government to reconsider its classification of marijuana as a dangerous drug with no accepted medical use, a significant shift that puts the prestigious group behind calls for more research.

The nation's largest physicians organization, with about 250,000 member doctors, the AMA has maintained since 1997 that marijuana should remain a Schedule I controlled substance, the most restrictive category, which also includes heroin and LSD.

In changing its policy, the group said its goal was to clear the way to conduct clinical research, develop cannabis-based medicines and devise alternative ways to deliver the drug.

"Despite more than 30 years of clinical research, only a small number of randomized, controlled trials have been conducted on smoked cannabis," said Dr. Edward Langston, an AMA board member, noting that the limited number of studies was "insufficient to satisfy the current standards for a prescription drug product."

The decision by the organization's delegates at a meeting in Houston marks another step in the evolving view of marijuana, which an AMA report notes was once linked by the federal government to homicidal mania. Since California voters approved the use of medical marijuana in 1996, marijuana has moved steadily into the cultural mainstream spurred by the growing awareness that it can have beneficial effects for some chronically ill people.

This year, the Obama administration sped up that drift when it ordered federal narcotics agents not to arrest medical marijuana users and providers who follow state laws. Polls show broadening support for marijuana legalization.

Thirteen states allow the use of medical marijuana, and about a dozen more have considered it this year.

The AMA, however, also adopted as part of its new policy a sentence that admonishes: "This should not be viewed as an endorsement of state-based medical cannabis programs, the legalization of marijuana, or that scientific evidence on the therapeutic use of cannabis meets the current standards for a prescription drug product."

The association also rejected a proposal to issue a more forceful call for marijuana to be rescheduled.

Nevertheless, marijuana advocates welcomed the development. "They're clearly taking an open-minded stance and acknowledging that the evidence warrants a review. That is very big," said Bruce Mirken, a spokesman for the Marijuana Policy Project. "It's not surprising that they are moving cautiously and one step at a time, but this is still a very significant change."

Advocates also noted that the AMA rejected an amendment that they said would have undercut the medical marijuana movement. The measure would have made it AMA's policy that "smoking is an inherently unsafe delivery method for any therapeutic agent, and therefore smoked marijuana should not be recommended for medical use."

Dr. Michael M. Miller, a psychiatrist who practices addiction medicine, proposed the amendment. "Smoking is a bad delivery system because you're combusting something and inhaling it," he said.

Reaction from the federal government was muted.

Dawn Dearden with the Drug Enforcement Administration said: "At this point, it's still a Schedule I drug, and we're going to treat it as such." The Food and Drug Administration declined to comment.

In a statement, the office of the White House drug czar reiterated the administration's opposition to legalization and said that it would defer to "the FDA's judgment that the raw marijuana plant cannot meet the standards for identity, strength, quality, purity, packaging and labeling required of medicine."

The DEA classifies drugs into five schedules, with the fifth being the least-restrictive. Schedule II drugs, such as cocaine and morphine, are considered to have a high potential for abuse, but also to have accepted medical uses.

Several petitions have been filed to reschedule marijuana. The first, filed in 1972, bounced back and forth between the DEA and the courts until it died in 1994. A petition filed in 2002 is under consideration.

Kris Hermes, a spokesman for Americans for Safe Access, said that advocates hoped the petition would receive more attention. "Given the change of heart by the AMA, there is every opportunity for the Obama administration to do just that," he said.

In a report released with its new policy, the AMA notes that the organization was "virtually alone" in opposing the first federal restrictions on marijuana, which were adopted in 1937. Cannabis had been used in various medicinal products for years, but fell into disuse in the early 20th century.

Sunil Aggarwal, a medical student at the University of Washington, helped spark the AMA's reconsideration after he researched marijuana's effect on 186 chronically ill patients. "I had reason to believe that there was medical good that could come from these products, and I wanted to see AMA policy reflect that," he said.

The AMA is not the only major doctors organization to rethink marijuana. Last year, the American College of Physicians, the second-largest physician group, called for "rigorous scientific evaluation of the potential therapeutic benefits of medical marijuana" and an "evidence-based review of marijuana's status as a Schedule I controlled substance."

Last month, the California Medical Assn. passed resolutions that declared the criminalization of marijuana "a failed public health policy" and called on the organization to take part in the debate on changing current policy.

News for 'HESG' - (Health Sciences Quest - Medical Marijuana)

INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, Fla., Nov 17, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Health
Sciences Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HESG) would like to announce that it has
retained its attorney Robert Young to investigate the necessary steps to legally
obtain licensing care giving and growing of Medical Marijuana in the State of
California. One of which is forming a non-profit organization.

In addition, the Company has been in preliminary negotiations with a dispensary
in Billings, Montana. Montana happens to be the only state where a care giver
can profit.

Thomas Gaffney, President and CEO of Health Sciences Group, Inc., states, "Let
me be clear. Number one we are in pursuit of getting into the legal medical
marijuana business in either or all of California, Colorado and Montana. Montana
happens to be the only state in the country at the time whereby care givers can
profit from their operations. However, the company can derive profits from
providing management and accounting agreements for dispensaries in any of the
states where medical marijuana is legal. Furthermore, we believe that getting
into the business on the ground floor will give us a leg up when the different
states legalize the use of marijuana for medical purposes altogether. There are
currently 14 states in total; we are investigating legalities. From a corporate
stance we are considering forming a subsidiary that we might eventually
spin-off. However this is all preliminary and just strategizing in nature."

We would appreciate any shareholders opinion at info@igohealthy.org

Let's analyze some of the key points in the Press Release of 17 Nov 2009 at 10:57 AM:

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Health-Sciences-Quest-Medical-pz-1989397838.html?x=0&.v=1

"attorney Robert Young to investigate the necessary steps to legally obtain licensing care giving and growing of Medical Marijuana in the State of California. One of which is forming a non-profit organization."

** Will forming the non-profit organization, allow HESG to obtain various grants, etc? What do you think ... especially in light of the AMA announcement on 13 Nov 2009? **

"the Company has been in preliminary negotiations with a dispensary in Billings, Montana. Montana happens to be the only state where a care giver can profit."

** Good place for HESG to start making PROFIT. Time to get the ball rolling **

"Number one we are in pursuit of getting into the legal medical marijuana business in either or all of California, Colorado and Montana."

** The game plan is getting set ... tri-laterally, none the less. This is serious planning going on **

"we believe that getting into the business on the ground floor will give us a leg up when the different states legalize the use of marijuana for medical purposes altogether."

** Good Move ... no time to waste. How long do you think it will be before other companies are heading into this? I am hoping that HESG and their joint ventures / mergers can keep ahead of the others that will surely be on our heels ... and soon **

"There are currently 14 states in total; we are investigating legalities."

** One step at a time, here. Lots of work to investigate the legalities of Medical Marijuana **

"From a corporate stance we are considering forming a subsidiary that we might eventually spin-off. However this is all preliminary and just strategizing in nature."

** I am betting that either HESG will change the name of the company, or a spin-off, merger will occur. I don't think a buy-out by one of the Big Pharma's will occur in the near future. Still too controversial **

For those who aren't aware, Medical Marijuana has been around for centuries. If you take a look at some of the early 20th Centure Pharmaceutical books, you can find it right in the index ... usually under Cannabis Sativa or Cannabis Indica.

As the H1N1 situation embarks, you will hear more about Medical Marijuana. There are cannabis lozenges being tested now, for H1N1.

Here are some common uses for medical marijuana:

CANCER, AIDS / HIV: Cannabis reduces the gutwrenching
nausea caused by chemotherapy (and radiation
therapy), while it stimulates the appetite to help
patients eat and combat excessive weight loss (the
wasting syndrome) and cachexia. It reduces pain and
helps cancer patients sleep and rest. It often raises the
patients’ spirits and mood, improving their will to live
and chance of recovery. Direct application of THC in
vitro shows promise as a tumor-killing or reducing
agent and also kills the herpes virus.

PAIN: Pain control is possible not only by consuming
cannabis flowers, but possibly even the leaves,
because, along with THC, cannabidiol (CBD) seems to
have a major analgesic (pain lowering) effect. Not all
pain responds to cannabinoids, but some of the most
troublesome ones do. Neuropathy and neuralgia both
respond well, while acute injury pain gets less immediate
relief but eventually feels diminished. Cannabis has
synergistic effects with opiates and other drugs, so pain
patients can reduce their dosages of prescription drugs
that have adverse side effects.

MIGRAINE: Cannabis is frequently used to treat
migraine headaches. It helps reduce light sensitivity,
nausea, vomiting, and pain, and can be consumed regularly
to prevent attacks from occurring or to as needed
to reduce the severity of an acute headache. Stressinduced
headaches can also be mitigated.

MS: Multiple Sclerosis is characterized by increasing
neuropathic pain and degenerative loss of muscle control
in two forms: involuntary movements (spasms) and
the inability to move (ataxia). Cannabis helps improve
movement affected by each of these, while reducing or
stopping the pain and related depression.

GLAUCOMA: Most sufferers of glaucoma, one of the
world’s leading causes of tunnel vision and blindness,
could benefit from cannabis, which reduces pressure in the eye caused by ocular fluid buildup. Its exact mechanism
is unknown. Surgery poses severe risk to the
eyes and pharmaceuticals hold dangerous side effects,
such as liver damage. Regular cannabis use can often
halt this painful progressive vision loss by lowering the
fluid pressure within the eye. When symptoms appear,
smoking can stop an acute attack.

EPILEPSY / SEIZURES: Cannabis can calm down
overactive nerves, alleviating seizures that may be
caused by a deficiency of natural endocannabinoids.

ANXIETY, HEART DISEASE: As a major contributor to
heart disease, anxiety-induced stress may be the number
one killer in America. Cannabis promotes relaxation,
reduces mental agitation, anger and anxiety and
lends a sense of humor. It can lower blood pressure.
Contraindication: When fast heartbeat poses risk.

ARTHRITIS: Eating or smoking cannabis helps control
joint pain, reduce inflammation and improve mobility. A
traditional treatment for rheumatism and arthritis is to
soak cannabis leaves in rubbing alcohol and wrap them
around the sore joints to reduce swelling and pain, and
ease movement. A general use topical antibiotic is
made by straining the plant matter out and using the
cannabinoids suspended in alcohol.

MENTAL HEALTH: Cannabis enhances sensory experiences
such as enjoyment of music and art, and has
long been regarded as a mild aphrodisiac. It can stimulate
inspiration and critical thinking, increase motivation
and reduce malaise such as chronic fatigue syndrome.
It is anti-depressant and helps people with attention
deficit (ADD / ADHD) to better focus and concentrate. It
can stabilize bipolar mood swings and may also help
with memory, such as with Alzheimer’s and senility.
Studies on veterans show it helps reduce nightmares
and rage caused by PTSD. Contraindication: Possibly
schizophrenia. May cause paranoia or panic attack.

ABLE-BODIED YOUNG MAN SYNDROME: When an
apparently able-bodied young person has a doctor’s
note, people may assume that they don’t use cannabis
as medicine and “just want to get high.” However:
• A person does not have to look sick to be sick.
• You can’t see pain, and patients may try to hide it.
• Mental illness is not visible to the naked eye.
• If cannabis is working, a patient may appear healthy;
in fact, one should hope that they feel well as can be.
For these and other reasons, it is up to the patient to
make the determination with a physician as to whether
cannabis is the right medicine for them.

12/15/2009 News - Health Sciences Enters Into LOI With The Healing Center of Montana to Acquire Two Medical Marijuana Licenses

Press Release

Companies:Health Sciences Gr

INDIAN HARBOR BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - 12/15/09) - Health Sciences Group, Inc. (Pinksheets:HESG - News) would like to announce that it has entered into a letter of intent with The Healing Center of Montana to purchase two operating licenses for medical marijuana collectives in Park County, Montana and Lake County, Montana. This transaction is contingent with standard due diligence and anticipated to finalize before the end of the year.

The Healing Center of Montana, owned and operated by Mike Smith, is the largest medical marijuana operation in the State of Montana and also has a presence in Colorado. Mike Smith has been in the Montana medical marijuana business since the state went legal.

"We anticipate this transaction to move very quickly, by the end of the month if not sooner. Contracts and agreements are going back and forth between the companies right now," stated Thomas Gaffney, CEO of Health Sciences Group, Inc.

Gaffney continues, "Health Sciences Group intends on being the first public medical marijuana company to derive actual revenues from medical marijuana operations. Although The Healing Center is non-profit, these two new locations would be for profit under a management agreement."

Montana, unlike California, allows collectives to be for profit.
